An Alternative to Disneyland
Don't Take Your Children to be Indoctrinated With Wokeism and Transgenderism
today is a short one - my old pc died and I’m using a computer at the library. My computer man said it was a good thing I shut down the old one when it started overheating - the battery very well could have caught on fire or melted…should have a new (refurbished) one later today
Walt Disney would turn over in his grave
Disney movies and Disneyland have gone woke, and they’re really pushing it. They’re not just tolerating lesbian, homosexual, bisexual, and transgender stuff - they’re embracing it and promoting it. Disney used to be a great family friendly and fun time company. Not any more…
a very good alternative
There are two wonderful places in Kentucky for memorable family strengthening experiences with fun and adventure in a way that traditional Christian values are upheld. At the same time, questions about God’s creation and the biblical account are presented in a way that is interactive, educational, and original. I’m talking about the Creation Museum with their animatronic dinosaurs that the kids will love, and the Ark Encounter. Take your children there instead of to Disneyland. More and more people are doing just that.
The Creation Museum
The state-of-the-art Creation Museum allows you to venture through biblical history, stunning exhibits, botanical gardens, planetarium, zoo, zip line adventure course, and much more. This 75,000-square-foot facility has welcomed millions of guests since opening in Petersburg, Kentucky. They have a lot going on, including classes for kids, speakers, a planetarium, zipline over a lake, botanical gardens, Christian music, and much, much more.
The Ark Encounter
Ark Encounter features a full-size Noah’s Ark, built according to the dimensions given in the Bible. Spanning 510 feet long, 85 feet wide, and 51 feet high, this modern engineering marvel amazes visitors young and old. Ark Encounter is situated in beautiful Grant County in Williamstown, Kentucky, halfway between Cincinnati and Lexington and right off I-75. As far as I know, this is still the biggest timber framed structure in the world. There are 3 decks, filled with totally professional exhibits (one of their designers used to work at Universal Studios), plus some of the animals are alive. It’s very interesting to see how Noah may have stored a year’s worth of food and how he may have handled water and waste for all aboard.
a dynamic schedule of events
The Ark Encounter has something going on every day - as if just being there wasn’t enough! They even have resident Christian musicians! Their website has the schedule - check it out.
Library shutting me down in 4 minutes…
Funny you should post this recommendation when I am leaving Monday to go to the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter
Short but good and necessary.
