Regarding food additives, Linda Bonvie wrote an excellent article about how Big Tobacco has taken over the processed food industry and is using the same “science” to create addiction to food as they did with cigarettes. https://lindabonvie.substack.com/p/big-tobaccos-takeover-of-american

Great article, you do have take responsibility for your health. Doctors push drugs instead of getting to the root of the problem. And like you said they can’t make any money on simple solutions like changing your diet and getting more exercise.

RFK Jr getting confirmed today. A huge step forward for improving the mess you’ve described. Words cannot express how grateful I am for this day. I don’t ever want to take it for granted.

A doctor has prescribed a new medicine for me. I will have to look for the side effects. Since the love of money has so many deceptive ways of getting it, we, the deceived, may never know all the deceptive ways pushed forward as the truth. Yes, without a computer, the fingers get no exercise.

Traced is a fascinating book. I highly recommend.

I agree we have to take control of our health, but it is getting harder and harder. Basic fruits and vegetables are grown in depleted soils, sprayed with herbicides and pesticides, and then dyed and coated with apeal. Livestock is confined to feed lots and barns, fed GMO grains, and drugged with hormones and antibiotics. Pharmaceutical companies have come to the conclusion that treating symptoms is more profitable than creating cures. We live in a small city and a big hospital conglomerate bought most of the Healthcare and all if the hospitals in town. Their care plummeted. Now most of my friends and I have decided we have to drive at least 45 minutes away to get decent care and that is a tiny community hospital. For high quality care for anything complex, we have to drive about 4 hours away.

I try to jeep us as healthy as possible and to be prepared to handle as many emergencies as possible.

You're right, of course, about the problems even with whole foods that are storebought.

If one can't grow their own organic food, the extra cost for organic food is worth it. We also have a meat store in Gresham Oregon, white's Meats, that has grass-grown beef, etc.

I chuckled at your typo "jeep" probably meaning "keep" - but I like the idea of your going in a jeep.

It seems like every time I type on my phone I get a typo. I try to check, but sometimes I miss the typos and sometimes I'm in a hurry and forget to check.
