It’s not just on the Left Coast, chargers sit empty all of central Georgia. Tesla will be the only American automaker making BEV’s in 5-7 years imo. They are reaching saturation.
Think of the cost of the telephone lines to each house and the black phone on the kitchen wall. Inventions bring change, but change doesn't always last. (Only until the next change comes along.)
The chargers at that Fred’s are at the back of the parking lot right? At my last community college they had a huge row of them in the premium front spots. Ha!! And even at that Marxist school they were never full. Oh and they had spots reserved for “fuel efficient” cars. My 2000 Toyota Corolla didn’t qualify. Those incentives always reward the rich people that can afford a hybrid or were delusional enough to buy an EV.

I’ve been watching the Fred Meyer chargers on Warrenton. Same thing. Always empty. I don’t know how much the price per kWh is.
